Laurel was born in Seattle but grew up in Spokane until it was time to leave for college. After graduation, she enrolled at Western Washington University in Bellingham for an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She then moved to Logan, Utah for graduate school at Utah State University. Laurel has a master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Deaf Education. After a few years living in Salt Lake City, it was time to come home! Laurel loves living in Spokane and appreciating all there is to do around the city.
