Courtney Cerenzia

A native Spokanite, Meaghan fell in love with Joya Child & Family Development when she was inspired by a Kids for Kids Penny Drive presentation at her high school. During her college internship at the Developmental Disabilities Program in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, Meaghan quickly developed a passion for working with children from the ages of birth to 3 years old.

Libby Hartnett

Elizabeth (Libby) is a mother of four who is passionate about working with babies and young children in the Spokane community where she grew up. She has always wanted to work at Joya, ever since she listened to a Speech Therapist from Joya speak during one of her undergraduate classes. That desire to work at Joya was solidified when she joined the Joya team as a practicum student while studying at Washington State University. Libby enjoys working with children and families of all abilities, and especially enjoys working with children who are hearing impaired or who have feeding delays.

Susie grew up in San Jose, California, and headed north to Spokane after finishing her bachelor’s degree. Susie always had a passion for working with children and through various life experiences discovered that teaching younger children and working with their families is where she belonged. For nearly two decades, she has made Joya Child & Family Development her home.

A native Chicagoan, Rachel relocated to Spokane to enjoy the nature and outdoor activities Washington state had to offer. Rachel has worked in early childhood for the last 10 years in a wide variety of settings. She completed her undergraduate degree at Colorado State University where she also completed hours in AmeriCorps volunteer in a classroom for the hearing impaired. After working for the Head Start program with the Cherry Creek School district in Aurora, Colorado for two years, Rachel relocated back to Chicago to be closer to her family. I

Sarah Nicolarsen

Sarah was born and raised in South Dakota. She knew early in life that she wanted to become a physical therapist and picked Creighton University for her undergraduate school as it also had a doctorate in physical therapy program. During graduate school, Sarah traveled all over the U.S. and beyond completing her clinical work including one month in the Dominican Republic where she provided pediatric home health services.

Cori is originally from Tampa, Florida and relocated to the Pacific Northwest to begin her career as a Physical Therapist. She loves being outdoors, reading, and spending time with her animals including cats, rabbits, and a dog.
