Biography
Courtney has always had a passion for working with children, from volunteering in younger classrooms as a child to coaching Little League softball while in high school. After learning about the speech therapy program at Washington State University and having some personal experience with speech therapy as a child, Courtney knew that speech-language pathology was her path. Courtney received her bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing science and a minor in human development from WSU, where she became a diehard Cougar fan and learned to love football (Go Cougs!). Courtney did her graduate internship at Joya Child & Family Development and enjoyed working in the early intervention setting so much that she stayed to start her career. In Courtney’s free time, she loves enjoying the outdoors with her boyfriend and family. She likes camping, hiking, wake surfing, snow skiing and enjoying a good book.
