Biography
Born and raised in the Bay Area of California and have lived in Spokane since 2006. Throughout my life I was heavily involved in sports and athletic injuries led me to an early interest in a career in physical therapy. My passion for working in pediatrics stemmed from early volunteer opportunities within the local community and abroad in New Zealand where I worked with children with special needs of all ages. I pursued my doctorate through Pacific University in Oregon and returned to Spokane, where I have been working in pediatrics since. I have experience working with young children in outpatient orthopedics, inpatient rehabilitation, NICU follow-up and early intervention. Joya has always been my dream job setting and I am ecstatic to be a part of the team at Joya. When I’m not enjoying working with children and their families, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Trevor and our two pets, friends, and family, watching sports, and being active while exploring the beautiful mountains and lakes surrounding Spokane.
