Biography
Elizabeth (Libby) is a mother of four who is passionate about working with babies and young children in the Spokane community where she grew up. She has always wanted to work at Joya, ever since she listened to a Speech Therapist from Joya speak during one of her undergraduate classes. That desire to work at Joya was solidified when she joined the Joya team as a practicum student while studying at Washington State University. Libby enjoys working with children and families of all abilities, and especially enjoys working with children who are hearing impaired or who have feeding delays.
Libby has lived in Spokane her entire life, except for a brief year when she lived in Bavaria, Germany. After attending Eastern Washington University for undergraduate studies in Communication Sciences, with special interests in German, and Special Education Services, she completed her Masters in Speech and Hearing Sciences at Washington State University. She started working at Joya in 2011. Libby left Joya for a brief interval after having twins, but has now returned for good!
