After working for the Head Start program with the Cherry Creek School district in Aurora, Colorado for two years, Rachel relocated back to Chicago to be closer to her family. It was there that she began working as a preschool teacher at a private school in the city and first heard of a “Developmental Specialist” when one came into her classroom. It was then she began her master’s program at Erikson Institute in Chicago. After completing this program Rachel worked in early intervention as a specialist for a Chicago-based clinic where she also helped create a therapeutic preschool for children aging out of the Early Intervention program.
