Biography
Robert was born in Germany and grew up in a military family where he enjoyed moving frequently and experiencing various cultures. He then served in the US Army Intelligence Community with the 10th Mountain Division. After the military, he earned his degree in Health Services Administration from Eastern Washington University and spent the next 17 years managing medical offices with a focus on healthcare accounting.
Robert is passionate about helping others and was drawn to Joya’s mission to help children succeed. He has volunteered at Joya’s community events for over ten years where he came to know the Joya staff and families.
Robert is happily married to a Speech Language Pathologist and they have four children, several dogs, and a bird. Robert and his family enjoy barbecuing, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
