For more than 60 years, first as the Spokane Guilds’ School and now as Joya Child & Family Development, we have relied on the generous and caring hearts of so many in our community. People like you who may never meet the infants and toddlers we care for – but are touched by their unique journeys and inspired to make a difference.
Joya’s team proudly served a record 638 children this past year, expanding access to essential early intervention services. We are excited about the impact this has on so many families, and to sustain this momentum, we aim to increase our fundraising efforts to support the costs of uncompensated care.
Last fall, through the generosity of donors like you who gave to our annual Hearts of Joya appeal, we were able to raise $62,000 to support our uncompensated care fund, allowing families to focus on the early intervention therapy their child needs, not on what they can afford. We hope we can rely on you to have a Heart for Joya and the incredible children we care for.
“I honestly do not know where we would be without Joya, I feel like I would be a lot more stressed, I would be a lot more anxious and worried about how they were doing and developing and how they would be able to communicate with others.” Samantha, Emmett & Warren’s mother
When you give, every penny stays right here in Spokane County to support children and families in your community. Please consider making a gift to meet this growing demand.
UPDATE: Thank you to all who supported our Hearts of Joya Campaign this fall. Thanks to the generosity of many, we exceeded our goal! To date we have raised $89,000 and still counting!
