Morgan Larson

Morgan has been supporting children and families since 2012, with experience spanning Head Start programs, pediatric healthcare, and early intervention services.

Nicole Trumble

Nicole grew up in Davenport, Washington. She moved to Pullman for her first two years of undergraduate studies, and then to Spokane to finish her degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences at WSU Spokane.

Millie came to Joya after having had the opportunity to work in multiple areas of social services, including ABA therapy, family mental health therapy, serving as an ECEAP family support specialist, a school social work practicum, and a child protective services practicum.

Sammy Simpson

Sammy grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago and moved to Spokane in 2020 to be closer to extended family. After several years working in nonprofit and sales roles, she returned to school to pursue a career in speech-language pathology.

Kimberly Sherman

Kim grew up across the street from Chief Garry Park here in Spokane. From a young age, she developed a strong work ethic and deep appreciation for the Spokane community.

Wayne Mathews

Wayne was born and raised in Spokane. He has 29 years in Facility and Industrial Machine Maintenance and loves every minute of it.

Alyssa Takamura

Originally from Oahu, Hawaii, Alyssa moved to Washington to attend Washington State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development.

Mariette Nascimento

Mariette grew up in Southern California and moved to Seattle for her Master’s in Speech Pathology in 2009. She spent 5 years working in the Chicago area – first in a school district and then at Lurie Children’s.
